Okay... so RR probably won't be finished by the 17th. I have finals this week. I haven't written once this whole weekend. I've been studying my ass off. And... it looks like I'll be ending the quarter with a D in English... unless I can get some last second extra credit... which I doubt... I need to get an A on the final. If I get an A on the final, then I'll be able to get a C for the year. A B would be better, but I think my D will kill that chance...

3rd Q- 75.0
4th Q- 66.8
I think they'll still let me do honors next year.... my other grades are really good though! I actually got an A in science!!!! The rest are A's and B's. English is my only zonker. :(
I went to see X-Men; First Class last night. I've never seen any of the other X-Men movies, and this one was sort of like a prequel. It was the back story of why they all are how they are. I went with Carrie, Megan, Katie (Meg's lil sis), Andrew (Carrie's cousin), Jeff (guy I walk to school with), and Nick (Carrie's friend). It was fun except the boys kept taking all our popcorn and candy! Ok so that was still kind of fun because they are all cute.
Nick used to be the freak kid who looked like a drug dealer. He used to eat his shoes. No lie.
Jeff and I have been friends since 6th grade, although we've known each other since 2nd.
Andrew... what can I say? He's only about 8 mo.'s older than Carrie, so he's only in 10th grade. But he was really cute. He was flirting with me too :D
Anyway, the movie was okay except Megan, Katie, and I kept getting lost!!!

ALMOST FINISHED!
You will all be very pleased to know that Royal Runaway is ALMOST FINISHED!!!! Well, considering I've only alloted about 12 more days to finish it, it's good that it's almost finished!!!! It's gonna need a LOT of editing over the summer, but as soon as it's finished, I will be posting it chapter-by-chapter on my Facebook page under "Notes." If you aren't a fan of me already on Facebook, I'm under "Megster Rachel." Same with Twitter (@megsterrachel). I suppose I could also post it on here too... it will just take a loooong time... But if you want to easily read it, iwill be on Facebook. I'll even put a link through Twitter and here if y'all want! :) I'm very excited. I've never finished a story before. I think it's really good... I'm not letting anyone read it until it's completely done... edited and everything. But I'm trusting you guys!
Well, I need to get back to work. I'm rearranging my magnet collection (my grandparents just got back from Europe and they brought me some magnets!) and then I'm gonna decorate my desk calendar for June... I didn't even use it for May :P

Tuesdays Suck Just as Much as Mondays
The title says it all.
You know how they say you can't judge a book by its cover? Well, with me, you can. I look like your average 15-year-old girl. And I even look like a pushover. Lemme say, mostly, I'm not! But today in Drama like half the kids in my class asked me to borrow a pen or pencil. I got one pen back and no pencils. I love those pens. And I NEED pencils for math. Ugh. People suck.
Other than that though it wasn't such a horrible day...
In Health we talked about STD's and just did a lesson from the textbook. Then in Drama we just sat and did book work (some kids did they're monologues but I didn't get the chance). In LCW we finished watching "Pursuit of Happyness" (which, by the way, was so much better than I thought it would be. I love Will Smith and Jaden was soooo cute!) and we got our quarter 4 books to read. In German we did grammar. Yuck :P Then when I was walking home (yes, I live pretty much right across the street from my high school) it got super hot and I was sweating... luckily I was wearing a dress and my dress was spagghetti staps so I wasn't sweating too bad...
I have a sore in my nose :( It feels like a pimple but I don't think you can get pimples inside your nose... can you?
Runaway Royalty is almost finished... well, the first draft is anyway. Over the summer I'm going to edit it and get it ready to be read by the world. I'm going to publish it on my Facebook Page (Megster Rachel) under "Notes" when I'm done with the first draft. I'm so excited for it!!! I've never been able to actually finish a story before... unless it was for school. But I really like my idea for RR and I think it's gonna be great!
I'm reading "Soul Surfer" right now. If you saw the movie, read the book. If you read the book, see the movie when it comes out on DVD. The movie was incredible (well I do love AnnaSophia Robb) and the book is touching and inspiring! I've been crying while reading how much faith she has in God and her family to keep her safe. The movie, however, overplays the shark scene. In the book, Bethany says that she just felt pressure and a tug and then the water was filled with her blood. In the movie the shark came up out of the water and chomped her arm off. But either way, AWESOME movie and AMAZING book. I got it yesterday and I'm already half way through it!

Good Weekend... Done with Writer's Block!
Saturday: slept till 9, opened the pool with Daddy, went to the craft store for Mel's project, had Arby's for dinner. :)
Sunday: Woke up at 5:48 (due to my father's coughing and my mother's coffee maker), read practically all day, watched "Twister" with my mom, did my math hw, had Pizza Hut for dinner, gonna watch "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure." :)
So last night, I had a jolt of insipiration! Why not just write my own autobiography? Except change a few names and places, and PRESTO! I'd have a masterpiece. Too bad I couldn't get past page three... then I took a millionth look at my thought-to-be-dead Runaway Royalty and PRESTO AGAIN! I had an idea! You will just have to wait and see though, I'm not telling! I've decided to leave it as a novella instead of lengthening it into a novel... mostly because of my time limit and the fact that I'm running out of ideas for this story.
I wrote from 9 PM - 11 PM. I watched an episode of Roseanne and I tried to fall asleep (too bad it's about 100 degrees in my room WITH the window open :P ) and failed until about 2 AM. Do you know what it's like to fall asleep at 2 AM and be woken up at 6? It's not pleasant. Emphasis on the NOT.
I need to go to the bank...
I'm reading two books right now;
1) "The Five People You Meet in Heaven"
2) "Firefly Lane"
Both are really good... "Firefly" is on my Kindle though so I can't read it at school. "People" is from the library so I have to return it soon... but I only have like 20 pages left... maybe even less.
I love reading... I don't know why so many people loathe it. Millions of teens are online Facebook more hours than they are at school each day... reading posts... taking quizes... sending messages... call me crazy, but isn't that READING?! And I hate it when people give me the crap about how "it's boring." I'm like, "HOW THE HELL CAN IT BE BORING YOU MORON? EVERY TIME YOU OPEN A BOOK YOU ESCAPE THE REAL WORLD AND ENTIRE FANTASY LAND! YOU CALL THAT BORING?!!!" But maybe that's just me...

Okay... So no more promises...
Sorry!!!!!! I know I said I'd update every day this week but I couldn't! You know how things get! Stuff happens unexpectedly!!
Like alllll week we've been prepping for the HSA's (high school assesments) and I've been studying. And Friday - Saturday my sisters had dance recitals until like 11 at night... and on Friday Mel twisted her ankle during the finale and had to be rushed to the emergency room :\ it was so scary... I mean, I knew she would be fine but she was like crying and trying not to cry which only made her cry harder... She was trying to be brave... She danced through 3 whole dances without saying a word about her ankle hurting. She did a ballet dance, a jazz dance, and the finale (which was in sneakers) without crying or fussing or complaining. And I know that there is no way in HELL that I would've danced if I was in that much pain. I was really proud of her...
Anyway, I am updating my iTunes. My mom burned me a CD of a few songs that she thought I might like... I like :)
My grandma came for the recitals and guess what! She brought me a bunch of vinyls! Johnny Cash, Alabama, The BeeGees, and even an Elvis "Moody Blue" album... THE RECORD IS LITERALLY BLUE!!!!! Like almost translucent! It's soooo cool! Now I have like 8 records!!!!! :) Now all I need is an actual record player... that's what Amazon is for :D

Sorry it's been a while...
Hello my fellow teenagers. It is I, Megan, and I have some news.
1) I am officially 15 :)
2) I have HSA's next week (High School Assesment... Amer Gov :P )
3) Ben is great :)
4) I can't believe I still have a boyfriend :)
5) I got pretty good grades on my report card... Okay, so not my best but I still had all A's and B's!
6) I am thiiiiiiiiiiis close to buying a record player :)
7) I don't know if I already told you this but I found a few vinyl's in my Mom-Mom's basement... Thriller (Michael Jackson), Annie (the musical), GREATEST HITS (ABBA), and Grease :)
8) I lost a friend... and I am surprisingly not completely upset about it.
9) I have been in a really good mood lately... Sort of unusual for me x]
10) I have not written anything creative in weeks.
#10 is the one I am mostly obsessing over... My deadline for RR is June 17. If I don't finish it by then, I will NEVER finish it.
The good thing about #2 is that on the days when I am not testing, I don't have to go into school until 11!!!!! 3 1/2 HOURS LATE BABYYYYYY!!!! :D
I promise on my soul that I will update every day this week.
Except maybe not tomorrow... I am going to be a "techie" for my school next year :) Its like the people who do the lights and sound and microphones for all the shows at the school. I have a tour of the booth tomorrow with Care and we are supposed to stay for the whole orchestra concert. :)
Well its 8 so I have to get off :P TTFN! TA TA FOR NOW!!!!

Week from Tomorrow :D
Exactly one week from tomorrow at precisely 2:00 PM, I will be 15 years old. I cannot believe that I am going to be 15. It's weird... it feels... old...

Bored Out of My Flipping Mind
I am sad :(
Ben and I were going to go to the Quidditch game at our school (this thing for charity) but his parents are working so he has to watch his brother :( Now I am sad.
I am babysitting Sammy and Olivia tonight. They are 3 and 7. They are loud. And they fight. All the time. And Sammy doesn't make any sense half the time. Can you tell I am excited? ;)
My grandparents are visiting today. I will only see them for a ittle while though because of my babysitting. They are coming at 3 and I am babysitting at 5:45.
I feel bad that I won't go to dinner with my grandparents...
Tomorrow I am babysitting 2 kids that I have never babysat before: Anna and Daniel. They are the children of my mom's friend and I have never met them before. I am freaking out.
Well I am going to go take a shower now because that's what I do when I am bored. That, and eat MnM's :)

Weekends Are For Lovers!
So guess what party people?! I HAVE A BOYFRIEND :D His name is Ben and he's so nice and funny and he's in my German class. :))
This weekend was pretty good. On Saturday I went to Bomboy's Homemade Candy and OMG it's amazing. I went a couple of weeks ago (I think I told you guys about it) but this time I got a different assortment. I got peanut butter chocolates, mint truffles, buttercream, chocolate-covered Oreos, chocolate drops (just pieces of milk chocolate) and this other chocolate but I can't seem to remember what it is... OMG but their candy is soososososososososososoooooooooo good!!!!! :D
Today we went to see my Aunt Marcia (pronounced Marsha) and she has the most adorable dog ever! His name is Manny and he's a maltese... he is so adorable. He climbed up on my lap and just let me pet him.... I took pictures, I'll see if I can upload them later!
Have you ever had the #3 on the McDonald's breakfast menu?! It's a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich on a biscuit! It was so amazingly delicious!!!! But then I started to feel kind of sick... but all fast food does that to me ;)
Last night my parents went to a party in the city and I had to babysit my sisters. We got pizza delivered, watched "Sky High" and then they went to bed. I watched "The Switch" with Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman. It was so good and hilarious!!! I recommend you watch it :D Anyway, my parents were gone until, like, 3 AM. I fell asleep on the couch and I guess they just let me sleep down there because I woke up to the TV on and my face in a pillow that didn't belong in my bed... My couch sure is comfortable... we have a sectional :)
Well... that's about it I guess. Can you believe I have a BF? :) I'm really happy. Well, tomorrow's sure to suck... B2 day :P
