So at the mall today I bought 3 things.
1) A sundress (Hawaiian flowers, gray and white, from Old Navy)
2) A shirt (flowery, bright colors, flowy, from Old Navy)
3) The movie Weird Science (from FYE)
I also bought a soft pretzel and a Coke Zero but I ate/drank that :) It was fun :) We saw a lot of people from our school! It was kinda funny. It seemed like half of the freshmen class decided to go to the mall today! :)
When I got home, we went on a hike. Now, I was very upset about this because A) I had just walked around the mall for 2 and a half hours and B) I walk to and from school everyday. Why do I need to walk more??? My parents kept saying "quality family time" and "need the excercise." Bullllll :)
When we got back, I finished revising my english paper for extra credit and completed my math homework. I had most of it done on Friday but I just had a few problems left. I also practiced my pi memorization.
Tomorrow is PI DAY! 3/14 :) So my math teacher told us she'd give us 1 EC point for every 10 digits we could remember.

We went to Cold Stone after our dinner of grilled chicken, pasta a la Mom, and salad. I got Mint Mint Chocolate Chocolate Chip with my dad (we got an "ours") and mine sort of melted on the car ride home so it's in the freezer right now so I can eat it later :D I loooooove Cold Stone <33333
So today turned out to be not so horrible. This week is bound to be though. It's a B1 week which means I have more B days (science, english, math, amer gov) than A days (health, drama, lcw, german). Which sucks. But B1 days aren't as bad as B2 days... I like having first lunch... It means I can have turkey and cheese instead of PB&J :) I take a brown paper bag for lunch (I know, bad for the environment, but it's convienient!) so I can't have an icey in it :\ So I usually have peanut butter, chips, fruit (like an apple or clementine), and some sort of desert. But tomorrow I can have a good sandwich :D Not that I don't like PB&J but after a week of it, it gets kind of old...

We're learning about circles in math. I like circles. They're not square.
GEEKY MATH JOKE: The formula for the area of a circle is "pi x r^2" which if you read, is "pi r squared." But "pie are round." Ha Ha Ha! :) My dad told me that joke in 3rd grade when we started learning about area and perimeter.

Hairspray & Shopping
Last night I went to see Hairspray at one of the high schools in my county. It was so amazingly good! There was live music, great singers, and realllllly cute boys! The guy who played Corny Collins was soooo incredibly cute and while we were leaving, we accidentally BUMPED INTO EACH OTHER!!!!! :D He had black hair, brown eyes, and he was TALL. Super wonderfully gorgeous :) Too bad he was a senior and he didn't go to my school...
I'm going SHOPPING today! I'm going to the mall for spring clothes shopping with my friend! The only problem, I slept in sort of late (the play wasn't over until 10 and it was far away so I didn't even get to bed until 11:30) so my mom made all of the arrangements for the mall. The mall opens at 12. Which is right now. But my mother decided that we didn't have to go until 1. What the heck? First of all, it's Sunday so I still have a little bit of homework to do so we can't even stay for that long and also she could have at least told me. She's at Kohl's right now. She called me a few minutes ago to tell me that we weren't leaving till 1 and said to start getting ready. I told her "I'm ready now." And she was like "You took a shower and everything?!" and I said "NO I THOUGHT WE WERE LEAVING NOW." So now I'm kinda pissed off and I can't even take a shower because my dad is taking one right now. So thanks

...What the Hell?
I just spent the last two hours feeling two things:
1) I felt like I had gotten stabbed in the heart.
2) I felt starving because the restaurant we went to was super crowded.
I just found out that this guy (let's call him... Joe) that I thought really liked me just thinks of me as the punch line to his jokes.
Joe and I were hanging out in homeroom this morning. I thought he was flirting because I was tweeting and he kept trying to take my phone. So I flirted back. I mean, I don't really like him in THAT way... but he's nice... or so I thought.
Then in the middle of dinner I get a text from another friend (let's call her Jane) saying that she talked to Joe. Jane told me that Joe said that "he only hangs around me because it makes me feel awkward" and that "it's all a joke." I felt like crying right there. For real. I even left the table and went into the bathroom at the Chinese place. I didn't cry but I texted Jane back for a few minutes until I figured my parents would wonder where I was.
So... I'm a joke. I mean, Joe IS a sophmore and I'm just a freshmen but I really thought he liked me. We used to go to camp together for, like, two years.
So now I'm listening to my "Breakup Songs" playlist on my iTunes. I know that technically we weren't going out and I don't like him... but I still feel sort of betrayed.
I had DRAMAFEST today :) We watched three plays. Or scenes from plays.
1) Lysistrata - All the women of Ancient Greece go on strike because all of their husbands are at war all the time and when they do come back, the men just want to have sex and then return to war. The women get fed up. Go Spartans ;)
2) The Worst High School Play in the History of the World - Not kidding about the title. It was hilariously horrible. Like Miley Cyrus hosting SNL last week ;) Basically it was about a girl and a boy who fell in love and couldn't get married. Kind of like Romeo&Juliet but a bit more modern.
3) I Don't Know the Title - This was just a scene from a play that the visiting school was going to perform later in the year. It was about these guys who go to a women's fishing tournament just to flirt. It was sorta funny.......
My fortune at the Chinese restaurant was "You Will Have a Secret Admirer." Fat chance.

Twitter & Facebook!

Today was slow but I'm in a particularly good mood. I do not have any idea why. Maybe it's because my friend Ian came to my locker every single class change, or maybe it's because I understand what is going on in math... or it could be because I get to go to DRAMAFEST TOMORROW <33333333 I am so excited!!!!!
I get to have a Cinnamon Bagel from Panera Bread for dinner tonight because we're having spaghetti and I don't like spaghetti.
We had an evil substitute in science today. His name was Mr. Rose and he was old and wrinkly and he had a cane and he told us that if he talked, we'd get a referral and go to the office. We were scared. My friend Madison and I thought he would beat us with his cane before he sent us to the principals! :)
We learned about circles in math today. Circumfrence and Area. Superrr easy! At least to me... I knew all the answers before she even had time to start working out the problem! :D It's because I know pi. I already knew the formula for Area and Circumfrence of circles. A = pi x r^2 . C = 2 x pi x r :)
Pi is 3.1415926535897932384626433832795048841971693993... Look up to see if I'm right or not. That is from memory. I had no paper in front of me with the digits on it. My math teacher is offering 15 extra credit points for the person who can memorize the most digits in pi by Monday! If I already know that many and I just learn a few more, I'm sure I'll win! She said she'll give 1 point for every 10 digits we memorize. One mistake, and we're done.
My back hurts :\
How has your day been? I can't believe it's still Thursday :P This weekend is going to rock though. On Saturday I'm going to see a play with my friend Carrie and on Sunday Carrie and I are going to the mall!!! The most beautiful place on earth :) Stores in which we purchase clothes and shoes and purses and accessories :)
Well I should start on my easy math homework, so I'll see you guys later!!!

Wednesday's Are ALWAYS So Slow!
Well, it's Wednesday! Huete ist der Mittwoch! Ahh, the lovely language of German :)
Well, if you couldn't tell, I am in a VERY good mood! My day was horrible up until, like, 5 mins ago when my mom said that I could go look for the shoes that I want for spring! They're called rocket dog clover espadrille flats. I want them in either blue or white eyelet. They are soooooo cute! Look em up on google!!!
Today was slow. The good part? I got invited to DramaFest which is where I get to learn about being an actor! I know I love writing, but acting is a close second!
Well, it's time to go shoe shopping! I'll tell you about my day later!!!

FASTNACHS
Happy Marti Gras or Fat Tuesday or whatever you people call it! All I know about Marti Gras is that its a celebration in New Oreleans (home of ELLEN DEGENERES!) and that you get really drunk. Tomorrow, as I heard, is Ash Wednesday. My German teacher said that that is where you go to church and there's a service about lent and stuff... If you do lent, what are you giving up? I'm Jewish... but if I had to give something up, it would probably be... eating junk food. I could do that for 40 days. In fact... nah I am not doing that. :)
I also got these AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS German donuts today called "fastnachs" and basically it was a big donut hole (like from Dunkin Donuts) but more doughy. It was soooooo good. There was Glazed, Cinnamon, and Powdered Sugar. We had to buy them for $0.75 and I got 3. One for me (glazed), one for Mel (glazed), and one for Mere (powdered sugar). I ate mine at lunch and I swear if I hadn't told my mom that I had gotten them fastnachs, I would've eaten theirs because they were soo delicious! The local bakery (where my school got them) only sells them TODAY. Once a year! So that means I have to wait until NEXT MARCH to have them again!!!! I don't know if I can wait that long! I might have to find the recipe online and make them or something!!! :D
Today was sooooooo slow. I had Science (we took a quiz then drew a timeline), English (we reviewed our notes on mythology), Math (notes........), and American Gov't (we talked about gerrymandering and reapportionment... and we got in trouble). So it was a slow day. Too slow if you ask me.
I have to have 9 lines of a poem memorized by tomorrow. It's called "Love Sonnet 40" by Shakespeare, if you wanna look it up and agree with me on how it makes NO SENSE AT ALL WHATSOEVER. The first 2 lines are:
"Take all my loves, my love, yea, take them all;
What hast thou then more than thou hadst before?"
Okay.. what the heck? That makes no sense! How can you say "then/than" twice in the same sentence with only ONE word in between make sense?!?!?!?
Oh well, I know 3 lines. Now I just have to keep reading it. I recorded myself saying it and I keep playing it over and over again. It seems to be helping :)
WEll, I guess I should do that then... Tschus!

A New Day!
Happy Monday, world! Ha, if only! How was your Monday, March 7, 2011? Or as they say in German: Montag, siebte Marz (I don't know how to say numbers in the thousands yet... I'm only in German I).
Sooo I was cleaning my room today after school and after my homework was done and I found out that I have a desk :) Well, I always knew, but now I can see it! And I found my Amazon Kindle charger, && I found all of my silly bandz! I don't know how big those were where you guys live, but here in MD, they were HUGE! They left as quickly as they came though :\
So I started a new story. I know that's risky, considering it's so close to my deadline for RR but I couldn't help myself! Basically it's going to be my life's story told as is from me but the character's names will be different. For example, my best friend's name is Carrie. In the story, her name is Hallie. See? I just don't know what MY name should be yet... I'm stuck between:
1 - Julianna
2 - Heather
3 - Veronica
4 - Bailey
Choose for me????? I love all of these names. I swear, when I have kids, it's gonna be a hassle to choose a name because there are so many pretty ones out there! Even boy's names! I love the names Grant, Evan, and Joel. I mean, they're just pretty names!!!
Soo here's something you didn't know about me. I cannot drink water and walk at the same time. To tell you the truth, I didn't even know that until last Friday when I was thirsty while walking home and I started choking on my water... Aren't I a genius???? :)
Well, I gotta jump. My sister has dance and I am going to take this as an opportunity to try and memorize my sonnet for Drama. Buh-bye!

It's been better...
Hey guys. Sorry I've been MIA lately. Its just been... difficult lately. I've been kind of depressed... For no reason in particular. I've been trying to write but its been sort of hard. I'm not overwhelmed by schoolwork or anything... I just never seem to have the time... Sorry.
I'm beginning to question my abilities. I never finish anything. How the hell am I supposed to be able to write an entire novel with less than 4 months until my deadline when I only have about 90 pages of Royal Runaway finished? And don't even get me started on how long it's going to take me to edit and revise this thing because trust me, I'll be rewriting half of it I'm expecting.
Well, I'll try harder guys. I wish I had more readers, but those of you fateful readers are the ones I know still care a little bit ;)

ein Glas Apfelsaft!
Guten Tag! Ich mochte ein Glas Apfelsaft! And for those of you who don't speak German, that means "I would like a glass of apple juice!" I am currently at my moms computer drinking a juice box and eating goldfish (the snack that smiles back, not the actual fish)while my dad builds a fire. Typical Saturday at my house.
My sister had a dance competition today. Her team won award for "Best Rookie Performance" and "Best Smiles" and she's all upset :P Sure they didn't get a trophy but they got a plaque to hang in their studio! They were sooo good too! They danced to "At The Hop" :D There were only two other rookie competetors and one of the dances was really stupid. They were all dressed up like swans. And they won a Platinum for "Most Creative Dance" (basically they won first place of the rookie division).
Sooo who's ready for SUPER BOWL SUNDAY?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!! I AM!!!!!! GOOOO STEELERS! Sorry to my readers who are rooting for the Packers, but I am a full-out STEELERS girl :D
I got new makeup :) It's by a company called BareMinerals and its all natural stuff. All natural ingredients, etc! I love it soooo much! And I got this sparkly eyeshadow... not like obnoxious sparkly (like some high school girls I know...) but subtle sparkly :) I love it so so so so much!
OH MY GOSH my dad just turned on Ice Age! DUMBEST MOVIE EVER. The only part that's funny is the stupid squirrel who thinks he can have the acorn :)
My sister just walked up... she thinks she's so tough :D
