HAPPY 50TH POST EVERYBODY! Yes, that's right. This is my 50th ever post on megsterrachel.blogspot.com and lemme say, I'm proud to say that I've even kept up with it... usually I just give up when I forget about it. But this is different... I feel like maybe some publisher or editor is reading my stories and poems and wanting to publish something... So thanks ;)
I have continued writing Runaway Royalty. It's 75 pages right now!!! It's getting really good... I wish I could figure out how to attach a link for you to read it because it's so long...... I will figure it out though! It's really getting good! But that's just my opinion :)
I have been trying for the last 15 mins to find a website that will let me upload my story and all I have to do is put a link... but alas, none could be found :P This is what we get from the internet :P
Today SUCKED. Just saying. I just had an all together terrible day. But I'm over it because tomorrow should be a good day! :)
3 more school day's until break! I am so excited, so all of you that got out last week, just let me be happy :D :D :D :D
I get out on Thursday... it's still gonna be a long week but I'll manage :) :)
I have to go... Love you all!

HAPPY HANUKKAH!!!!!
Happy Hanukkah everyone! Sorry I haven't been on in like FOREVER but you know how life can be ;) I have MANNNNNY things to say, but before I do, I have a few words of encouragment.
1) ponytail
2) french toast
3) shift keys
Thank you.
Okay, so the past few weeks have been BRUTAL. Yes, I mean BRUTAL!!!!!!!! My math teacher still hates me, my Amer Gov teacher is still too strict, and gym... well gym would be absolutely UNBEARABLE if it wasn't for the fact that I know I only have it until January 28th. Then I get health with Mr. Harvey! YAY :)
Here's what I got for Hanukkah:
~ a pretty bracelet with the phrase "fall down seven times, stand up eight" engraved on it
~ an ADORABLE sweater: its green with white patterned designs and it has a tie around the waist and its sooooooo cute!
~ 3 DVDs: "The Breakup", "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days", and "The Wedding Singer"
~ a group gift... TOY STORY 3 :)
~ iTunes gift cards :D
Yeahh, when you get older, you don't usually get a present every night. It was every other night for me this year :) But that's okay because they were awesome gifts!!!! <3
I. Hate. High School. Like seriously? I HATE IT. With a passion. I don't know if it's just because I am a freshmen and I have no choice in what classes I take (except for one elective) or if I'm just allergic to school. Either way, it sucks.
Also, some other stuff has been going on (kinda private... no actually, really private.) that I can't really share with you but I will tell you this; Doctors are IDIOTS. I had to get like 6 blood tests in the last 2 months (at the least) and twice they lost the vile of my blood and had to do another test! UGH I mean, how dumb do you have to be to LOSE a girl's blood, for crying out loud?! Also, I kept getting mean nurses who had no compassion. I hate blood tests and every nurse didn't seem to give a rat's butt about it. One lady even started moving the needle around INSIDE MY ARM. It hurt reallllly bad. I mean, yeah, blood tests don't really hurt but this lady was just a jerk :P
I haven't really been writing too much... too much school work... but I am reading this Edgar Allen Poe short story for English and it's really disturbing. Just thought I'd share that tidbit with ya ;)
Love to all, happy holidays!!!

Young Writers Contest Short Story (so far)
Always light and open, Fieldsgrove was a simple place. It's residents always greeted each other sweetly and sincerely. Smaller than Lichtenstein, Fieldsgrove was a place of complete serenity.
The streets were a mix of cobblestone and dirt and the entire village was like out of a picture; It was as though all of the people were painted in.
The houses were small and blue with white shingles. The street that circled Town Square was a cloudy bronze and burnished chocolate. The serendipity of the area wafted through the air.
Most of the perimeter was rural with farmland with rolling hills of fern and honeydew and in the autumn the fields were blanketed with all shades of red, yellow, and orange imaginable!
The skies were royal blue with puffy pearl white clouds on nice days. It rarely rained in Fieldsgrove but when it did, the place became very dark and somewhat dreary. The people pulled out their barely-used umbrellas and rain around avoiding getting wet.
Sunset was the best time of day for Fieldsgrove. The sky turned dark purple with yellows and pinks and greens.
Mostly the days were wonderful and sunny. Everyone always had a smile apon their face. It was fantastically unreal how everyone got along. You don't see that everyday in everyday places. Everyone was happy.
Or appeared to be happy. But underneath, the people of Fieldsgrove were miserable.

Back On Track :) - Runaway Royalty
I am back baby! Yes, that's right, I am writing RR again :) Well, editing it right now. It's about 50 pages and I am reading over it to remember where I left off; changing a word or two here and there. I even took out an entire page because it was so stupid. It's pretty good though... sometimes I forget that I am the one writing it because it sounds so real. :) I'm excited for it. My deadline (my deadline for myself.... OMG RANDOM MOMENT MY FAVORITE SONG EVER JUST CAME ON THE RADIO: KID ROCK! ALL SUMMER LONG!!!!!!!) is the last day of school. I know I can finish it by then. Then I'll edit over the summer and then I'll let my dad read it and maybe I can send it to a publishing company :)) I hope!!!! :D Pray for me!!!!!
God, I love this song :D "Singing sweet home Alabama all summer long,"
So my sister, Meredith, is going through some.....changes. Her fellow girlscout "sisters" are sort of bad influences on her. She's not listening, being extremely obnoxious, etc. God, how can someone so small be so annoying?!
SNL tonight!!!!! Jane Lynch is hosting and Bruno Mars is the musical performance and I'm gonna see ittttt :DDDDD!!!!!
Well I gotta get back to writing :)
Tootles!!!!

Questions Beyond Curious Questions.
Question #1 = why does it seem like I can't do American Government to save my freaking life?
Question #2 = why does it seem like everyone takes me for granted?
Question #3 = why is it that everyone underestimates me? including my closest friends?
Question #4 = why is it that my parents act like they have no confidence in my writing?
Question #5 = is that (question #4) why I let no one read my stories except you?
Unanswered questions. I have no explantations.
I have theories, but no explantations.
Answer #1 = I just don't understand Amer. Gov. because my teacher doesn't teach the class the way I am used to. High school is just different, I guess.
Answer #2 = I let them.
Answer #3 = I astonish people when they see something that I can do that they never thought I could. I guess it's just because I'm always the "peace-maker" instead of the one that tries to cause trouble.
Answer #4 = For this I have no theory.
Answer #5 = I suppose so... I don't even let my family or friends read anything that I write outside of school... I don't feel comfortable with it. Almost like they won't appreciate it.
I know it sounds like I'm just feeling bad for myself, but I just have a lot going on... If I don't update for a few days, don't be alarmed. School is starting to catch up with me :P

UGHH
My bloood test went swimmingly. She says sarcastically. Yeah, I almost passed out and I threw up. I am so weak and such a wimp. Ugh. I did go to Kohls with Mom though. I got two sweaters and two shirts. They're really cute sweaters too :) Now I am supposed to be cleaning my room but I don't want to :P I'm gonna have to but I don't feel like it yet...
My grandparents are coming later today... fun! x]
I just put some new songs on my iPod like "Teenage Dream" (Katy Perry), "Impossible" (Shontelle), "My First Kiss" (3OH!3 feat. Ke$ha), "Your Love Is My Drug" (Ke$ha), and "Bad Reputation" (Joan Jett). Good songs! :D

My Completely Accurate Horoscope!
I know I just posted but I was about to check my email on My Yahoo and I saw my horoscope. I always skim it but today it is strangely accurate :D Here's it is for Taurus! ;)
There's only one way for you to live your life: By doing what's right. You follow the rules, dot the i's, cross the t's and make sure each and every authority figure you encounter knows how much respect you honestly believe they deserve. So when news comes along now, about something you've been hoping for so much you were afraid to even talk about it -- well, there's really no need for you to be surprised. You've earned it. Enjoy!
